Pathways Europe 2018: Human Dimensions of Wildlife, Goslar (Germany)

The German city Goslar welcomed the conference Pathways Europe 2018, focused on the importance of human dimensions in wildlife conservation, on land or in the seas. Grupo Lobo's technicians presented the results of actions developed in Portugal under the Med-Wolf project: namely the use of livestock guarding dogs to prevent damage in extensively raised livestock and the wolf ecotourism pilot initiatives implemented in the districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco. This participation was part of the collaboration initiated with Associação Natureza Portugal (ANP), the national partner of the EuroLargeCarnivore project, which co-organized the Conference.
