International Symposium on the Prevention of Wildlife Damages

On the 8th and 9th of November, 2017, an international symposium on the prevention of damage caused by wildlife and in particular by predators will be held in Grosseto.
During the symposium, the results of the experimentation of the prevention measures realized in the framework of Life+ Medwolf project will be presented.
There will also be an exchange of information among experts dealing with damages caused by wildlife in order to broaden the terms of the discussion and stimulate the development of new methods and shared strategies.
The symposium will be organized in two separate sessions: the first day will consist of a series of events, including technical workshops and artistic performances, while the second day will be open to the public, and will involve the interventions of national and international experts.
The symposium is organized, in the framework of Life+ Medwolf project, by Province of Grosseto in collaboration with Institute of Applied Ecology in Rome, the project leader, and with the contribution of all other project partners.
Registration for the Symposium is free, but participants must register (download here the registration form) and following the deadline: September 30, 2017.
